Welcome!

PENYPAA brings young people, regardless of age, together in fellowship and service work to AA. Our primary goal is to carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous. We do this by serving the San Francisco Bay Peninsula young peoples groups. By hosting AA meetings and events like dances, campouts, softball and the annual PENYPAA comedy night we help unify our area and show that you can be young and have fun in sobriety.

Preamble

Peninsula Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous (PENYPAA) shall observe the sprit of AA tradition, taking care that it never becomes the seat of perilous wealth or power; that sufficient operating funds and reserve be its prudent financial principal; that it place none of its members in a position of unqualified authority over others; that it reach all important decisions by discussion, vote, and, whenever possible, by substantial unanimity; that its actions never be personally punitive nor an incitement to public controversy; that it never perform acts of government, and that, like the Society it serves, it always remain democratic in thought and action.

Service Opportunities

The best way to stay sober is to get involved! Penypaa has many open service positions. Some require a tiny bit of your time and some require a lot. We need help with events, conference bids, outreach, and generally "carrying the message." Check out the "Contacts & Service" page to see what's available and come to our monthly service meeting to find out more.

12 Step Sponsorship

A sponsor is someone who is knowledgable and can guide you through the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. If you are seeking YPAA sponsor or available to sponsor someone, please attend one of the meetings on the "YPAA Meetings" page or send an email to sponsorship@penypaa.org

PENYPAA meets at the San Carlos Peninsula Fellowship every 3rd Sunday of the month at 12:15pm.

The San Carlos Peninsula Fellowship is located at 1133 Eaton Ave. in Redwood City. Click here for a map.
